Author Guidelines
Manuscript Preparation Guidelines
Jurnal Inovasi dan Transformasi Pendidikan (JITP) publishes scholarly articles in the field of education that contribute theoretically and/or practically to educational innovation and transformation. The journal welcomes original research articles, conceptual papers, and literature reviews that address current issues and developments in education across various levels and contexts.
All submitted manuscripts must be original works, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration for publication in any other journal. Every manuscript submitted to JITP will undergo an editorial screening and a rigorous peer-review process.
A. General Requirements

Manuscripts must be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English using clear, academic, and formal language.

The article title must consist of 15–20 words, concise and informative, accurately reflecting the content of the manuscript.

The maximum number of authors is five (5).
-
Authors’ names should be written without academic titles, followed by institutional affiliation and email address.
-
One author must be designated as the corresponding author, responsible for all correspondence with the editorial team.

Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
-
Authors are REQUIRED to use the official JITP article template.
-
Manuscripts that do not comply with the template and guidelines will be returned to the authors before the review process.

B. Article Structure
Manuscripts must be organized in the following order:

C. Abstract and Keywords
The abstract must be written in English, with a maximum length of 250 words, presented in a single paragraph. The abstract should clearly include:

Research purpose, explaining the background and significance of the study;

Research methods, including research approach, data collection, and data analysis techniques;
-
Main findings, presented clearly and supported by data;
-
Research limitations, including methodological or practical constraints directly related to the study.
Keywords consist of 3–5 words or phrases, separated by semicolons (;), and should represent the core concepts of the article.
D. Introduction
The introduction should provide:
-
background of the study,
-
significance and relevance of the research topic,
-
a critical review of relevant literature,
-
the position of the study in relation to previous research,
-
clear research objectives.
The introduction must be written in a coherent and argumentative manner and should be understandable to readers from various academic backgrounds.
E. Research Method
This section must describe the research procedures in sufficient detail to allow replication. The following components must be clearly explained:

research design or type,
-
research subjects, population, and/or sample,
-
data collection techniques and instrument development,
-
data analysis techniques.
For qualitative research, authors must describe the research context, researcher’s role, research location and duration, informants, and data trustworthiness procedures.
F. Results and Discussion
The results section presents research findings objectively and systematically. Data may be displayed using tables, figures, or narrative descriptions.
The discussion section should:

interpret the findings scientifically,
-
relate results to relevant theories and previous studies,
-
address the research objectives and questions,
-
explain the implications of the findings for educational theory and practice.
All tables and figures must be numbered, titled, and explicitly referenced in the text.
G. Conclusion
The conclusion should summarize the main findings of the study, highlight theoretical and practical contributions, and provide recommendations for future research or implementation. The conclusion must be concise and should not repeat the discussion section.
H. References

References must include only sources cited in the manuscript.

All references must follow APA Style (7th Edition).
-
References should be arranged alphabetically.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote.
-
At least 70% of references must be primary sources, such as peer-reviewed journal articles published within the last 5–10 years.
I. Article Template
To maintain formatting consistency and publication quality, authors are required to use the official JITP article template. The template is available for download via the Article Template menu on the journal website.
Manuscripts not prepared using the template will be returned to authors for revision prior to further processing.
J. Peer Review Process and Publication Ethics
All manuscripts submitted to Jurnal Inovasi dan Transformasi Pendidikan (JITP) undergo a double-blind peer-review process. Authors must adhere to ethical standards of scholarly publishing, including originality, proper citation, and avoidance of plagiarism and duplicate publication.
Plagiarism Policy
Jurnal Inovasi dan Transformasi Pendidikan (JITP) is committed to upholding academic integrity and ethical publishing standards. All manuscripts submitted to the journal must be original works and free from plagiarism.
To ensure originality, every submitted manuscript will be screened using plagiarism detection software (Turnitin) before entering the peer-review process. The journal applies the following policy:

The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%, excluding references, quotations, and bibliographic sections.

Manuscripts with a similarity index above 25% will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the severity and nature of the similarity.

Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, or falsification, is strictly prohibited.

Authors are fully responsible for ensuring proper citation and acknowledgment of all sources used in the manuscript.

If plagiarism is identified after publication, the journal reserves the right to retract the article in accordance with publication ethics.
By submitting a manuscript to Jurnal Inovasi dan Transformasi Pendidikan (JITP), authors agree to comply with this plagiarism policy and accept all editorial decisions related to plagiarism screening.
